BEFORE LOGGING YOUR CALL FOR A TECHNICIAN TO ATTEND
High ambient temperatures above 32°C and or the door being left open/not closing nicely can cause the units evaporator (situated inside the unit at the top next to the ceiling) to completely ice up.
If the reason for logging a call is because the evaporator is iced up, please perform the following actions prior to requesting a technician to attend:
- Turn the unit off for 24 hrs to allow the Ice to melt completely
- Turn the unit back on and monitor for a further 24 hrs – if the ice returns, please log the call
